Work Experience:A minimum of 2 of progressive experience in Years
Qualification:

For Office management lecturer:Bachelor’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution in Business Education, Business administration.

For Computer Instructor: Bachelor’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution in Computer Sciences.

Two years of experience teaching face-to-face classes.

Experience with learning management system, i.e. Blackboard or Moodle.

Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning and facilitation methods

Fluency in English both spoken and written is must

Demonstrated experience in curricula development and participatory teaching methodology

Presentation skills are highly desirable

Duties & Responsibilities

I. Mastery of Subject Matter



Prepare and deliver lectures to undergraduate and/or graduate students on topics:



Office Management Lecturing Topics: such as Office administration, Office forms & stationary, office records and filing management, office systems, setting and meeting objectives, resources and team management, effective management, office procedures.



Computer Instructor Topics:



Basic Windows any version



Microsoft Word



Microsoft Excel



Microsoft Powerpoint



Microsoft Outlook



Internet Skills



General Requirements:

Evaluate and grade students class work, assignments, and papers.

Compile, administer, and grade examinations.

Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.

Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records.

Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions.

Demonstrate a thorough and accurate knowledge of their field or discipline.

Display an ability to interpret and evaluate the theories of their field or discipline.

Connect their subject matter with related fields.

Stay current in their subject matter through professional development, involvement in professional organizations, and attending professional meetings, conferences, or workshops.



 



Learn and use technology to enhance teaching and the educational experience when appropriate.



II. Teaching Performance



Plan and organize instruction in ways that maximize documented student learning.

Employ appropriate teaching and learning strategies to communicate subject matter to students.

Modify, where appropriate, instructional methods and strategies to meet diverse student needs.

Employ available instructional technology, i.e. the internet, interactive technology, when appropriate.



Encourage the development of communication skills and higher order thinking skills through appropriate assignments.



Contribute to the selection and development of instructional materials in accordance with course objectives.

Incorporate core competencies into curriculum.

Develop, update, and post course syllabi in a timely manner.



 



III. Evaluation of Student Learning



Establish meaningful learning student learning outcomes for courses/programs.

Develop and explain methods that fairly measure student progress toward student learning outcomes.



Evaluate student performance fairly and consistently and return student work promptly to promote maximum learning.



Maintain accurate records of student progress and submit final grade rosters to administrator on timely manner according to established deadlines.

Demonstrate sensitivity to student needs and circumstances.
