The general functions are:
The position requires clear understanding on Gender Based Violence issues in country and international aspect, experience on rights based approach, partnership management, efficiency of training and facilitation along with social and legal analysis with expertise & in existing laws and policies relating to VAW as well as international instruments, clear understanding on various dimension of development including gender equity, gender mainstreaming etc .The position also requires campaign, networking and advocacy skills both at grassroots and national level and requires event management and good writing skill. The position also requires a strong ability of work in a team.
