The objective of RADP-N is to advance food and economic security for rural Afghans in the Northern provinces of Balkh, Jawzjan, Samangan, Baghlan, Kunduz and Badakhshan. To achieve this, the program strengthens the capacity of farmers in improved production in the wheat, high value crop and livestock value chains. RADP-N activities enable farmers to increase their commercial viability and competitiveness in response to market demand, thereby generating greater income opportunities for their communities and empowering families to better meet their household needs.
The Communications and Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) departments track RADP-N’s progress and impact and communicate the program’s successes to the donor, the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and other stakeholders. The Translator/Interpreter will work closely with Communications, M&E and technical staff to support RADP-N’s activities and meet the program’s reporting obligations to USAID. He/she will be mostly assigned to provide written translation.
