The Directorate of Kuchi is an independent government entity which mainly works for the livelihoods of Kuchi population under the different articles of the national constitution. A new reforms team has been established in the Directorate to highlight the underlying causes of dysfunction and streamline the activities of the said directorate for improved service delivery as well as discover and avail new opportunities through different and innovative approaches, this initiative is meant to bring the Kuchi population to the national-fold and enable them to have access to basic necessities of life such as education, health, agriculture and livestock. The project team will be mainly focusing on the following issues of IGDK which is plagued by difficulties such as other governmental bodies e.g. administrative, managerial, operational and other institutional shortcomings. These include but not limited to the following:
Lack of direction and intent, ambiguity in vision and mission, poor service delivery, lack of communication between the national and sub-national bodies and other important administrative difficulties that prevent this entity to perform as was the purpose of its existence.
