Our mission is to improve equity in health by empowering people and strengthening health systems. We work with partners to generate context-specific knowledge and to build capacity at the interface of policy and practice. Key thematic areas of work are education, sexual and reproductive health & rights, health systems strengthening and disease prevention and control.

KIT Health, jointly with an Afghan partner, is responsible for the implementation of a project for the Ministry of Public Health in Afghanistan, providing  “Consulting Services for Third Party Monitoring and Evaluation under SEHAT Project”. The project consists of collection of nationally representative data on quality and utilization of services from health facilities and households during 2015 - 2018. KIT seeks to strengthen its internal management of the project, as well as to support both our local partner and the health ministry in strengthening the implementation of the Third Party Monitoring and Evaluation work.
