Organization Background
Founded in 1996, PARSA is a private non-governmental organization (NGO) working directly with the disadvantaged people of Afghanistan to build healthy Afghan communities.
Sixteen years later, PARSA is a leader in the civil society movement to bring programs to Afghan communities that are culturally relevant, and support communities as they make their own solutions to the problems. PARSA is dedicated to creating programs that foster a humane and fair society for all people but especially women and children.
The psychosocial projects of PARSA are our most recent development.
