Society for Sustainable Development of Afghanistan (SSDA) is an indigenous, non-political and local NGO, registered with the Government of Afghanistan. SSDA has been founded to address issues of sustainable development through innovation, appropriate technology promotion and capacity building. SSDA’s philosophy is not to duplicate the mandate of existing NGOs, rather carve a niche of its own to distinctly contribute to the sustainable development agenda through working in areas of community development for poverty alleviation through Natural Resource Management, Drinking Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation, Community Physical Infrastructure, Governance, Drug demand reduction and Harm minimization, Primary education Promotion sectors etc. Thus SSDA calls itself a knowledge based NGO, predominantly interested in promotion of Best Management Practices and appropriate technology in the sector.
Currently, SSDA intends to implement one of the Community Let Total Sanitation (CLTS) capacity building projects in few Provinces of Afghanistan. In the above mentioned project, SSDA will organize CLTS workshops, supervise/coach the CLTS activities of many NGOs in the provinces and will have follow up and exposure visits to the Provinces.  
To accomplish this task, SSDA is inviting applications from qualified and suitable female or male National CLTS Master Trainers for the above positions. Those consultants will be preferred who have taken CLTS Workshop from SSDA, and are familiar with the approach.
