The Country Management Unit (CMU) of the World Bank Kabul Office is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the World Bank Bank's portfolio of Bank-financed projects in Afghanistan as well as the safety and security of staff involved in these programs. Supporting the CMU, WBG Corporate Security, is looking to hire a well-organized, proactive and motivated individual for the position of Security Oper. Asst. The Security Oper. Asst. position is designed to provide dedicated security assistance and support to the Afghanistan Country Security Specialists (CSS) and World Bank Group IBRD & IFC offices in Afghanistan.
Reporting to the senior CSS, the Security Oper. Asst. assists in all security, safety and other security related matters. In addition to this formal reporting arrangement the Security Oper. Asst. will also support the Deputy Country Security Specialist and assist with management of the Guard Force contract.
