World Vision is an international Relief and Development Organization operating in over 100 countries around the globe. WV International/Afghanistan started its operations since 2002 in the western provinces of Afghanistan (Herat, Ghor, and Badghis) in the areas of Education, Health, Agriculture, and Water & Sanitation. 

Job Summary:
In terms of public health priorities in Ghor and Badghis in the face of the current increase of IDP population, additional NGO support to provide basic health care through mobile health services and further coverage of “white areas” has been identified by the provincial Department of Public Health and Department of Refugees & Repatriation in both provinces during World Vision’s October 2015 needs verification. Specifically, the following services are most urgently needed: maternity services (to women and newborns), outpatient therapeutic treatments, acute malnutrition treatments, and disability awareness raising.
In response to the above-mentioned needs, World Vision’s approach under the CERF project to such emergency health situation will include provision of mobile health services to the uncovered IDP families and their Host Communities in targeted locations in Chaghcharan and Qala I Naw. This will include the provision of preventative and curative primary health care (maternal child health, immunization, public nutrition, essential medication, and mental health and disability referral services) based on the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) Basic Package of Health Services (BPHS) standards for the mobile health services.
This is a full-time, grant-funded Mobile Health Team Supervisor position the CERF project, the position holder is responsible for planning, organizing, controlling, leading and assurance from the smooth project implementation in Ghor and Badghis province, S/He will provide supportive supervision and logistic and administration support to the 3 MHT (2 Badghis and 1 in Ghor provinces), beside this he will prepare the project report and submit to the zone manager in the respective provinces.
S/He need to travel between Ghor and Badghis periodically to ensure project is running well.
