|Duties & Responsibilities|
Book the chronological transactions
Implement SYDO financial policies and procedures and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Prepare and generate vouchers and code them according to the donor codes and appropriate accounting codes.
Ensure to scan all the original documents on a monthly basis and make sure all supporting documents are attached.
Make sure that all the payments are paid and supporting documents are all stamped “paid” and all transactions are properly.
Ensure that financial records provide clear documentation and approvals and that internal control procedures are followed.
Ensure that all transaction are properly referenced By location, by Journal type, funding source, and projects.
Responsible for cash custody , prepare daily cash report to line supervisor, cash reconciliation and make sure all vouchers are filed properly and kept safe.
Conducts all business payments according to SYDO Financial policy.
Responsible for all tax issues/payments (salary, severance, rent, wages, withholding) and on time delivering to MoF.
Assist finance officer in annual financial reporting to MoF and participating in meetings, prepared by GoA-MoF, relating to tax issues.
To maintain/establish the taxing filing system and recording of all venders for withholding taxes.
To work with a close cooperation with Finance team and to take the whole responsibility of Tax unit, and follow the Government of Afghanistan/ MoF tax low.
Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by the finance manager.
