Duties & Responsibilities
  • Procurement: The main point of contact on procurement issues in the Estates team: raising requisitions and securing approval at the appropriate levels, distributing Purchase Orders, completing supplier set up forms, completing supplier set up forms and ensuring that rental and rental tax payments are made on time. Compile dockets for works completed by the Technical Works Department to be processed and recharged.

  • Prism Housekeeping: crucial to ensure that Post maintains its high accounting compliance scores – following up on missing invoices with suppliers; liaising with budget holders to confirm deliveries and payments; running regular reports on the account and escalating issues as required.

  • Purchasing: Use the Government Procurement Credit Card (GPC) to make orders and pay bills on behalf of departments; Ensure that ordered goods are delivered and received (following up with suppliers as required). Reconciling the GPC transactions in good time.

  • Estates Officer: Support the Estates Manager and Deputy Head of Corporate Services (Estates) with the day to day running of the estate – liaising on estate projects and working with the Estate Manager to identify suppliers offering value for money. Provide cover for Estate Support Officer on his absence by allocating rooms to staff and visitors as well as quality controlling equipment and cleaning standards in the accommodation.

  • Line manage two Estate team helpers
