Five years of direct work experience as a project manager/ monitoring and evaluation in educational or capacity building programs

Duties & Responsibilities
Plan the delivery of the overall program and its activities in accordance with the objectives of the organization and scope of the projects
Creation of job opportunities for job seekers and employees who seeks better employment within and outside the country
Develop new initiatives to support the placement of job seekers and promotion of employees within the private sector
Coordinate with project staff and other staff that project activities operate within the policies and procedures of SMART.
Ensure that project activities comply with all relevant professional standards.
Develop forms and records to document project activities
In consultation with the director, recruit, interview and select well-qualified project staff
Implement the human resources policies, procedures, and practices of the organization
Ensure that personnel files for the project are properly maintained and kept confidential
Establish and implement a performance management process for all project staff
Ensure that all project staff receives an appropriate orientation to the organization
Review and control all reports and correspondence (soft or hard) going to donor and private sector
Report the director on all progress and variance on a regular basis
Ensure that all financial records for the program are up to date
Ensure financial reports and supporting documentation are prepared and recorded
Monitoring & Evaluation
Data Management and Analysis
Establish and maintain an update M&E filing system and checking the M&E data quality.
Keeping all documents of trainers and trainees and other credentials
Checking the quality of data regularly on each M&E form, keep update the tracking of hard and soft copy of M&E forms
Verification and reconciliation of data
Preparation of project progress reports, and disseminate the report to stakeholders
Perform visits to classes and teaching sites to ensure the quality of teaching to make sure that program activities are according to the work plan, and to report any diversions and variations to the Project Manager
Review and analyze weekly reports to identify the causes of potential bottlenecks in project implementation and to enhance the quality of reporting.
Document the lessons learned and best practices of the different programs and projects.
