  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in related professional field,
  • 3 years’ relevant experience, especially within Donor funded projects or Corporate Sector.
  • Strong Accountancy Knowledge especially in Transaction Management Systems, interpersonal and
  • Communication skills, Supervisory, leadership, team worker, analytical, and     troubleshooting skills.
  • Computer skill at operator level, especially with MS Office packages.
  •  Fluency in English and Dari and/or Pashto, both written and spoken
  • Experience of planning, reporting and budgeting
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement financial procedures in line with organizational requirements

  •  Recording and reconciliation of project recoveries and income recognition.

  • Provide financial management advice on revisions of budgets, preparing periodical forecasts

  • Monitoring of the petty cash and bank balances to ensure sufficient funds are always available depending on the program needs.

  • Management and reconciliation of the bank and cash accounts, preparation of the weekly cash counts and monthly financial records including cashbooks, to be submitted to Head Office, ensuring financial and resource accountability and effective management for records as required for auditing.

  • Collection and filing of regular financial reports and budget record

  • Maintaining effective and regular Communication with HQ

  • Comparing expenses against the monthly and annual budget of the organization in order to make sure it’s within the budget  line and meeting the requirement of the program

  •  Managing all Payments of vendors from bank and preparing vouchers for both USD and AFN Bank accounts.

  • Adjustments of travel advances and make they are clear on time

  • Developing check list for renewal of agreements /payment of internet, office rent, vehicles…

  •  Managing  all Payment  of salaries and mange taxes on monthly bases

  •  Managing bank reconciliation and managing Cash forecast transfer request to Home Office.

  •  Maintaining effective and regular Communication with HQ.
