Fluent in Dari Pashto and English written and spoken

Computer skill in MS. Office packages QuickBooks

Familiar with planning and prioritizing tasks

Duties & Responsibilities


Admin Tasks:



Assist AWEC admin and finance unit in all administrative and financial matters including but   not limited to; drafting correspondences maintenance of office.

Daily control and check of staff attendance sheet.

Preparing time sheets.

Keep tracks of all correspondence written communication related to AWEC department and keep update journal and staff payments.

Maintain administration department filing system and incoming/outgoing correspondence record keeping.

Facilitate meeting supplies and arrange meetings and seminars of AWEC department while required.

Assist the focal point in collecting and reviewing the financial report received from NGOs.

Follow-up on administrative assignment given by supervisor with related stakeholders.

Translate administrative documents from English to local languages and vice versa.

Perform other related tasks assigned by supervisor.

Finance and Procurement tasks:

Preparing vouchers based on supporting documents.

Checking the accuracy of bills e.g. calculation omissions etc. before making payment.

Checking the project expenses their accuracy calculation exchange rate calculation voucher supporting documents and payment approval etc.

Managing day to day expenses/petty cash expenses and their posing in the excel spread sheets.

Assist establishing and maintaining cash controls and processing payments

Preparing monthly cashbook sending it on time to HQ.

Reconciling cashbook.

Daily cash count.

Assist AWEC Administration unit in purchasing of office supplies and equipment’s with application of USAID rules and regulation and keep track of inventory lists of sub-recipient with real stock.

Supervise and control of all expenses related to vehicle maintenance and their fuel consumption. Maintain financial files and records
