Duties & Responsibilities

SUMMARY OF KEY FUNCTIONS



Work closely with Field Supervisor Livelihood Advisor and the team to conduct market research market analysis and baseline study for the project.

Identifies business opportunities for beneficiaries.

Work closely with the Field Supervisor and Livelihood Advisor and other key personnel to design coordinate and implement beneficiaries’ economic empowerment activities related to creating and implementing business and enterprises.

Generate Sales and Revenue growth path for beneficiaries.

Work closely with external partners including private sector micro finance institutions and others.

Provide plans and guidelines for beneficiary’s career development.

Initiate and supervise capacity building and awareness raising of the related project activities to the project participants including beneficiaries community entities and other project stakeholders.

Contribute to project activities through sharing experiences and his/her findings

Undertake any other task assigned by the supervisor.



KEY RELATIONS



Internal: Field Supervisor Livelihood and Agriculture Development Advisors Other project technical staff.

External: local authorities community members private sector and other relevant bodies.



KEY RESULT EXPECTED



Work closely with skill development officers to provide sufficient trade for local beneficiary’s based on market and base line survey

Conduct small business training for project beneficiaries who would graduate form skill development services

Act as employment support facilitator to who graduated from school transition to work beneficiaries and assist them to find regular job in labor market according to needs of market and capacity of clients

Coach the skill development beneficiaries to have advertising in media and electronic spaces to find market as commercial message

Conduct business plan training to clients who graduated from LAMP project

Be updated about implications of labor and product market time by time

Support the beneficiaries to have accessibility to job center networks

Have regular communication with job centers to refer LAMP beneficiaries to them for employment.

Provide effective data for skill development officers about product promotion price and place of skill development outputs

Identify market targets and market segments to LAMP beneficiaries based on local resources.

Work with project beneficiaries in entrepreneurship and self-confident in development of skills and trades.

Facilitate graduated trainees/ groups to establish a mechanism for access to market according to the trades and developed marketing strategy and their specific needs.

Facilitate enterprises visits to the training centers and production centers and ensure that there is an effective exchange of knowledge and ensure that the enterprises are willing to hire and to work with the beneficiaries after the training period.

Promote exchange visits among the beneficiaries the marketers and service providers.

Support beneficiaries in identifying space for sale of their production and skill.

Support project in conducting business mapping community attitude and labor market surveys.

Facilitate timely market needs assessments and development of efficient marketing strategies.

Prepare monthly action plan and share the plan and the achievement with LAMP relevant personnel.

As part of supportive skills and assistances support graduates in preparation of timely marketing plan and market transactions reports.

Counsel micro enterprises and economic households created with LAMP graduates.

Make regular monitoring/follow visits to field to ensure and planned activities are running well and proper and timely support to the graduate is provided.

Conduct regular visits and maintain contact with other NGOs working in the area.

Contribute to new project concept based on the knowledge of the communities. Assesses the needs in communities as required.

Provides updates and stories for LAMP and CARE.
