Able and willing to travel at least by quarterly to JWN and Sar-e-Pul provinces.

Duties & Responsibilities
Work with co-operative attitude and keep high standard of quality.
Develop Spirit of co-operation and understanding among members of the organization
Follow SAFs established policies procedures and objectives; continuous quality improvement initiative works/ performance
Developing operational plans for establishing/strengthening community health care networks as per approved action plan.
Assisting program director in coordinating CBHC related issues with MoPH NGOs and other relevant organizations
Participating in meetings/workshops and Task Force/Working Groups conducted at MoPH to share and exchange the experiences on CBHC from the field for improving the gaps and challenges faced in the community during implementation.
Plans supports and follows up implementation of all CBHC related trainings including initial and refresher training for CHW trainers CHS and CHWs.
To makes sure all planned CBHC activities are done based on projects work plan
Regularly visiting health facilities community networks (CHS health posts CHWs committees and shuras) monitors the activities and provides on the spot supports to the service providers.
Collects compiles analyzes reports of community-based health workers and accordingly provides feedbacks to provincial CBHC officers.
Supports pharmacy officer in preparing required kit/supply requests and ensures that CHWs are supplied and used the supplied kits in a rational manner.
Providing technical assistance to CHWs -Trainers/Supervisors and through them to HFs staff (Community Health Supervisors) on how to train community-based health workers.
Ensures that HPs in Sar-e-Pul and Jawzjan provinces have at least one female CHW.
Working closely with other technical staff of SAF BPHS projects and providing them with technical advices on how to implement the Basic Package of health Services using community- based approaches.
Ensures time to time updating of database of CHWs.
Ensuring and evaluating the training activities quality of training and supervision of Community Health Workers (CHWs) by CHW Supervisors/ Trainers clinical staff and local communities.
Ensuring that community based activities supported by SAF are consistent with related MOPH policies on the Basic Package of Health Services and Community Based Health Care (CBHC)
Ensuring that SAF has updated information on CBHC policies and guidelines and that they integrate it into their projects plan of activities.
Ensure smooth implementation of EPI services in Jawzjan province.
Reviews the progress VS the EPI related performance indicators of Jawzjan and Sar-e-Pul BPHS projects on regular basis and ensures the index and maximum levels of EPI related indicators are achieved.
Review the monthly statistical reports of EPI services and provide constructive feedbacks to the provincial related staff.
Ensure provision of regular supply of EPI units in BPHS HFs in the targeted provinces.
Conducting regular supervision and monitoring from EPI related activities in the provinces as per monitoring plan
