Duties & Responsibilities

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate a positive academic and clinical learning environment while delivering theoretical session and providing safe health care services.

  • Conducts theoretical and clinical instruction and supervision of students while in the theory and clinical setting.

  • Assess competency of students related to achievement of skills and theoretical knowledge and gives supportive and constructive feedback.

  • Ability to adjust arrange and implement  the work plan ability to train all skills in the course monitoring and evaluation guide and encourage the trainees

  • Knowing the theories and ability to implement in practice

  • Responsible to train and monitor the trainees according to competence.

  • Prepare course materials such as syllabi homework assignments and handouts

  • Initiate facilitate and moderate classroom discussions

  • Participate in student recruitment registration and placement activities

  • Assists in maintaining of personnel files for all students including record of theoretical & knowledge assessment

  • Monitors attendance of students and keeps attendance Record

  • Supports the students throughout the program and offers counseling on personal or study related problems

  • Assists the student to find answers to questions and apply theory to practice

  • Notifies Course Coordinator of any concerns related to student learning and ability

  • Participates in meetings report writing and dissemination of information related to the program as requested

  • Liaises with clinical preceptors and other staff in the clinical areas to coordinate the clinical and theoretical aspects of community nursing education program

  • Assumes responsibility for availability of resources used during the class

  • Work according to policy of Norwegian Afghanistan Committee

  • Perform any other duty which is assign to her by supervisors
