Good Communication and interpersonal skills

Pashtu/Dari language is mandatory

Duties & Responsibilities
The position holder will be responsible for mobilization and organization of the beneficiary communities obtaining information related to the beneficiary communities reporting and monitor communities and programs around the community targeted areas to addressing protection issues in the target areas and also identify and address capacity gaps and ensuring quality program delivery.
Successfully complete training on community mobilization methods and tools and train community based facilitators and community leaders including CBCPMs.
Mobilize community leaders and establish early rapport and provide overall orientation of the War Child Canada’s programs.
Lead with community leaders and identify beneficiary households for community development in War Child Canada’s program’s impact areas.
Facilitate small and large community meetings to encourage formation of community based opinion groups and/or establish relationship with existing community opinion groups.
Assist program officer in development of a clear work plan for the community mobilization activities of HRDA programs.
Hold monthly meetings with CBCPMs leaders and other community members.
Represent HRDA as required in community based relevant fora. For example meetings with CBCPMs opinion groups.
Prepare monthly and quarterly report.
Provide necessary reporting inputs to the monitoring and evaluation officer as requested.
Support baseline end-line and any other assessments as advised by Child Protection Officer. Ensure the effective and efficient use of all HRDA resources in order to keep costs low and ensure safety in the workplace.
Comply with the requirements of HRDA Child Protection Policy to ensure maximum protection for children.
Number of volunteers and Shura members trained in CFS/ CP/ in the target areas.
Number of Community mobilization action plan developed in follow up.
Monthly activity reports submitted on time.
Number of CBCPM meeting conducted and recorded.
CtC Campaign organized conduced and recorded.
