Languages Skills:

Excellent communication in both Dari and Pashto languages reading and writing ability in English.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

SUMMARY OF KEY FUNCTIONS



Mobilize the target communities to project intervention procedures and policy and to inspire them to actively play their role in the promotion of project aims.

Initiates and supervises capacity building and awareness raising of the related project activities to the project participants including beneficiaries community entities and other project stakeholders.

Collect community mobilization and training data and assists field supervisor in data analysis and interpretation and report development Coordinates activities with other agencies CSO and departments involved in project activities.

Contribute to project design through sharing experiences and his/her findings



Undertake any other task assigned by the supervisor



KEY RELATIONS



Field Supervisor Project technical staff Project Data Officers and other CARE projects related staff.

local authorities community entities and community members.



KEY RESULT EXPECTED



 Conduct baseline surveys on community develop and implement community mobilization plan;

Mobilizes and motivates the target communities on gender equality issues;

Inspires the sense of contribution participation and self-reliance in the target communities;

Establishes and develops good mutual understanding cooperation and trust between CARE project and the target communities;

Maintains good working relations with authorities.

Initiates and supervises capacity building and awareness raising activities on women and children rights issues in the communities.

Facilitate formation of related entities at community level

Identify training and awareness needs of community and assist in facilitating those training and awareness raising initiatives

Organize regular meetings with communities to assess the progress of work and to resolve any emerging problem in communities effecting the project activities and/or project participants

Collect data from field as and when required and or assist field supervisors and other project staff in data collection from the field

Collect community mobilization and training data and assists field supervisor in data analysis and interpretation and report development          

Collect and compiles community mobilization establishment and performance and training sessions’ related data;

Assist Field Supervisor in project operations data analysis and interpretation;

Submit community mobilization monitoring counseling training and observation information to project supervisor.

Assist Field Supervisor in reports preparation.

Maintain attendance sheets and records of community training participants workshop documents and other related sessions.

Assist FS in Liaising with district authorities

Conduct regular visits and maintain contact with other NGOs working in the area.

Contribute to new project concept based on the knowledge of the communities. Assesses the needs in communities as required

Collects data for the project periodic reports

Provides updates and stories for CARE at Glance project reports etc.
