Minimum a Bachelor degree from any recognized university in Social Science
economics business administration.
Minimum 5 years of experience in managing Saving Groups or and Community Groups
as tools or means for economic empowerment
Fluency in Dari and Pashto both written and spoken
Duties & Responsibilities
This recruitment is conditional on ASIO entering into a contract with WEE-RDP for
facilitation of the social mobilization aspects of the project.
The District Coordinator shall manage all activities at the district level as per ASIO
agreement with MRRD toward the implementation of WEE-RDP over a three-year period.
WEE-RDP will fall within the purview of ASIO Rural Development Program Unit which has
the following sub-components (1) Citizens Charter Afghanistan Project; (2) Community
Governance and Livelihood Project; (3) Water Sanitation and Hygiene-WASH; and (4)
Nationally the Women’s Economic Empowerment Rural Development Project (WEE-RDP)
will be implemented in 76 districts covering all 34 provinces following two implementation
modalities: 1. By utilizing the services of Facilitating Partners (FPs) and 2. Directly by MRRD
personnel at national provincial and community level.
WEE-RDP will promote women’s economic empowerment through strong financially
sustainable and self-managed community institutions improved income sustainable
enterprises and developing increased access to finance and markets.
The District Coordinator (DC) will be based at the district and shall manage all activities
of the WEE-RDP Project initiative at the district which includes representation and
leadership manage the implementation of project activities focused in the district.
District Coordinator will be responsible as overall in charge for conducting all programs
activities in the district which includes (but not limited to) representation management
needs assessment monitoring logistics finance and administration. S/He manages
