Duties & Responsibilities

District Managers will be based in Yahyakhel and Sarawza districts each. They will establish effective coordination mechanisms with local government. They will work closely with rural communities for the purpose of facilitation and proper implementation of CCAP program at community level.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Establish and set up District Office and make sure it is fully functional

  2. Partake in the recruitment of Social Organizers for the respective district

  3. Orient Social Organizers and communities on CCAP program

  4. Orient district governor on the program, establish and maintain coordination with district government and other actors in the district

  5. Capacitate field staff by conducting formal and on-the-job trainings

  6. Plan, coordinate and get MoUs signed between CDCs and relevant departments

  7. Integrate CDCs with other parallel shuras, identify communities, conduct CDC elections and re-elections, CDPs, subproject proposals and implementation of subprojects

  8. Contribute in the development and implementation of M&E plans at district level

  9. Plan and implement training needs assessment at district level

  10. Develop and implement training action plan at district level

  11. Communication and coordination with CLDD staff at district level and the District Governor

  12. Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly progress reports to Provincial Office

  13. Participate in coordination meetings at district level

  14. Actively participate in community-wide meetings and discuss developmental issues with communities

  15. Establish community participatory monitoring committees and mechanisms

  16. Establish community operations and maintenance committees

  17. Build linkages between CDCs and government departments at district level

  18. Contribute actively in delivering formal trainings to CDCs at district level

  19. Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor
