Duties & Responsibilities
Act in the role of Team Leader in managing the implementation of the Economic Empowerment Programme and performance of NCA and partners EE programme staff according to the projects agreements and guidelines of NCA.
Develop Economic Empowerment concepts and proposals in response to call for applications and documents required by donors in cooperation with partners staff and EE advisors at NCA’s HO.
Design EE Programme initiatives policies and approaches and develop capacities (on enterprise value chain and vocational skills development) of relevant NCA and partners staff on how to promote employment and income opportunities.
Assess project proposals from partners for relevance and chohesion with NCA EE Programme Country Strategy and donors objectives and priorities.
Guide EE Programme development across related project areas; assess project effectiveness and recommend new initiatives and innovation in the Programme.
Provide substantive analysis of EE Programme by identifying opportunities and areas for improvement through regular monitoring (as define by monitoring plan) of field activities meetings with partners and authorities.
Suggest improvements on NCA and partners EE Programme design and implementation systems procedures and review existing operations for the purpose to identigy areas for improved performance.
Secure EE Programmatic coordination and collaboration with relevant authorities partners and thematic clusters for scaling up the Programme.
Analyze specific budget issues related to EE Projects and Programme development and execution.
