University degree in management English literature computer science or equivalent.
Minimum three years of similar experience in or institutions.
Good command of written and spoken English Pashtu/Dari
Familiar with Afghanistan Higher Education Law/procedures
Ability to provide training.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Experience with educational institute would be an asset.
Duties & Responsibilities
The Center Coordinator is expected to execute Center’s mission to maintain professional image of Center and ensure that instructor deliver quality lesson and student have thoroughly learn the subjects.
Major Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for overall operation of the English Language and Computer Learning Center (ELCLC)
Manage the center responsible for daily opening/closing and maintaining scheduled hours of operation
Build and protect the professional development brand image for the center and continually interpret communicate and execute Center’s mission.
Establish relationships with key leadership and managers of university to engage them in Centers programs.
Plan coordinate and execute schedules in coordination with English and computer teachers in the Center.
Conduct visit from the classes and provides feedback for instructors to all areas of topics taught in the Center.
Communicate with teachers so they facilitate interactive training opportunities in classroom through use of technology role play discussion and other effective ways of engaging students for learning comprehension
Maintaining proficiency with all technology being utilized by the Center and maintain center asset operative and continuously apply proactive maintenance approaches to avoid pause and halts in the center operation.
Market and proactively promote Centers activities and keep posted the partner university’s chancellor deans lecturers and staff.
Record documents Center Performance data and produce variety reports as per organization assignments
Prepare and develop thematic topic presentation and deliver workshop to the student group.
Proactively participates in the re-design and design of current and future curriculum
Maintain the highest levels of professionalism though all outlets of communication such as correct spelling proper grammar and overall professional etiquette
Make sure the online database regularly updated by instructors
Submit weekly reports along with photos for sessions organized and activities done at the center
Perform other duties as assigned by the project manager.
