Main responsibility:

Under the overall steer of the project manager of ACSFo the Field  Coordinator is responsible the overall project implementation at the provincial level and report to the assigned manager to ensure that the project achieves the desired and intended measurable and verifiable results on the time within the budget and in compliance with the donor’s and ACSFo polices and guidelines.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIE

Maintain close contact and strong relations with the project staff in target provinces and ensures that the project is planned managed and implemented according to agreements with the donor agreements with Oxfam and the local context and Afghan law.
To cooperate on providing various manuals and training materials particularly on budget monitoring social audit ATI advocacy strategy Grievance Redressal Systems Participatory research methods.
Coordinating with relevant stakeholders to conduct trainings;
Conducting Trainings to build capacity of local civil society organization PAC and DAC members and governmental entities upon request of ACSFo.
Providing advice and support to the DAC and PAC team in related tasks.
Maintain close working relation with other civil society entities.
Collecting information and materials on civil laws policies and other matters related to civil society issues.
Conducting surveys and research on various issues upon request of Project Manager and ACSFo research team.
Submitting scheduled weekly plans to the Project Manager.
Submitting scheduled weekly reports to the Project Manager.
To maintain relation with other civil society organizations and governmental organizations
Maintaining a filing system both hard and soft.
Any other task which is required for the successful implementation of the project or assigned by the project manager.

Position Requirements:

ACSFo would like to hire an individual with international or prominent national NGO work experience and background. The ideal candidate will have the following education work experience skills and qualities:

Education & Professional Qualification

Essential:

Bachelor in project management international development communications and/or media social science or other relevant area or equivalent professional experience.

Work Experience and Knowledge

Essential:

Minimum 3-5 experience of implementing large projects relating to human rights women rights and/or governance advocacy
Ability to guarantee effective and timely outputs. 
Demonstrated proficiency in mass communication and advocacy work
Track record in successfully leading project partnerships and a clear understanding of the challenges and measures to promote collaboration and trust
Highly developed reporting and budget monitoring and management skills
Excellent knowledge of community development and social mobilization
Proven management ability and inter-personal skills – team player
Problem solving and leadership skills
Proficiency in most common computer software including Microsoft Word Excel Power Point and Outlook 
Ability to deal with difficult often frustrating work situations
Cultural and gender sensitivity and ability to live and work in diverse multi-cultural environments

Duties & Responsibilities

The overall aim of the project is to strengthen the interaction between civil society organizations (CSOs) and MoE in order to enhance responsiveness efficiency and transparency on essential education services delivery processes
