At least 2 years work experience in the field of finance and accounting with government departments NGOs UN agencies or private sector. Proper knowledge of admin/finance support Excellent knowledge of computers programs. Good writing and speaking
Bachelor degree with 2 years of relevant experience will be preferred from any relevant faculty &12th graduate with 4 years of relevant experience. Holding diploma in accounting/finance management from a professional institute is preferable Excellent speak and write English Pashto and Dari Excellent typing and writing skills
Ability to prepare and maintain budget financial report cash books and other financial documents. Effective communication and writing skills Better understanding of Gov. Procedures Good communication skills Ability to meet deadlines Ability to undertake multi tasks Ability to travel provinces and provide admin/finance support during field activities to project
Over all provide appropriate financial support for AIRD projects with cooperation of MRRD finance manager and work as AIRD focal point within MRRD finance department.
Prepare disbursement (payment) vouchers for approved expenditures. Likewise prepare Expanse Voucher and regularly record project expenses.
Maintain daily cash book handle physical cash and timely report any issue to the finance manager and to AIRD program manager if required.
Assist in preparation of annual budget and programs budget.
Assist in preparation of financial reports to donor/s based on the requirements
Assist in preparation of monthly expenditure report and updated cash book for project management team
Process and close follow up of all advances which are received by AIRD for any operation.
Review and reconcile suspense accounts and ensure compliance with project operating procedures.
Maintain accurate records of all financial documents transactions vouchers request bills etc.
Undertake close follow up of AIRD procurements throughout MRRD procurement department.
Prepare request and list of expenses for workshops & Seminars conducted through the project.
Travel to provinces and provide finance support to AIRD field activities when necessary.
Review various financial transactions including payroll grants travel claims and other approved expenditures to ensure correctness of disbursements and adherence to relevant project procedures financial regulations policies and administrative practices and guidelines
