Qualification:
  • Have a bachelor degree from a recognized university in economics or related field plus at least two years of practical experience in agriculture livestock and capacity building projects in Afghanistan or in the region
  • Excellent communication skill in English as well of the local languages. (Pashto and Dari)
  • Good Computer skills
  • Presentation skill
  • Reporting skill

Duties & Responsibilities


  • Ensuring proper and accurate application of ASIO or donors financial policy and procedures

  • Follow-up of monthly cost projection and reconciling with each approved project budget;

  • Operating expenditure controls and providing overall supervisory support for Project Manager and ensuring that each expenditures are in line with project approved budget;

  • Ensuring that overall expenditures and incomes are complying with ASIO donors and government requirements;

  • Making sure that all costs – material and immaterial – are all reasonable allocable and allowable for donors and ASIO;

  • To ensure that all transactions are done by using accurate and proper supportive documents and are recorded in books of account of chronological basis;

  • Follow-up of Cash Request to ASIO Main Office;

  • Ensuring that the requested items in orders are complying with the project budget and is properly codified according to concerned project link table

  • Ensuring that all requisition orders and purchase order are properly dated calculated translated signed proper supportive documents and approved;



Supervision:




  • Preparing quarterly projects supervision plan and sharing it with Project Manager for approval and application;



Training:




  • Preparing training plan to operational staff members;

  • Training of operational staff at provincial level based on their needs;



Reporting:




  • Preparing Monthly Provincial Financial Reports and report it to Main Office at the end of every month;

  • Making sure that all types of Tax Obligation Payments to Economic Taxation Department and keeping records of supportive documents.
