At least 5 years of relevant experience working in or with a municipal government, particularly in the area of financial management, revenue generation, business and property registration, accounting and payroll in Afghanistan.
The position reports to the Municipal Team Lead.
|Duties & Responsibilities|
The Financial Management Advisor(s) will be responsible for managing the activities in target municipalities in the areas of revenue generation, business and property registration, accounting, and payroll. S/he will be physically located in the municipal government offices of Maymana and will provide mentorship, capacity building training, and other technical assistance as needed to the municipality staff and officials.
OBJECTIVES AND DUTIES:
Providing on-the-job coaching to and mentor municipal officials in financial management.
