Bachelor degree in journalism or other communication related field or relevant field experience.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in the field of communications and graphics designing with a reputable institution
Filming and video editing skills
Layout and design skills; knowledge of major graphics design software
Good English skills. Fluency in Dari. Must be able to communicate in Pashto.
Good conceptual and analytical as well as creative thinking

Duties & Responsibilities
The Graphics Designer will support the Director of Public Relations in managing all aspects of communications and social media at Khana-e-Noor Educational Network. S/he will work with the Director of Public Relations to implement communication strategies to broaden the impact of the Network’s programs and oversee organizational messaging and constituent services.
Description of Duties
The Graphics Designer is responsible to collect produce and manage communication products and materials in support of Network’s marketing strategies.
Supports the production of communications material for external and internal audiences consistent with the branding guidelines of KEN.
Produces high quality flyers brochures for the website and other social media outlets as required.
Designs and Layouts the KEN newsletter and other communications materials as needed
Regularly updates KEN’s social media pages.
Films and edits short videos for internal and external use and TV ads.
Records and documents events conferences and speaking engagements taking place in the network.
Promotes and markets the services of the network through proper media and social media campaigns.
Performs any other duties and tasks assigned by supervisor.
