Technical skills (required):

Bachelor degree in the related field

Experiences in WASH projects (at least 2 years in the same position)

knowledge of hygiene and health promotion

Excellent oral and written communication skills


Languages (required):

To be fluent in Dari & Pashto (written read spoken)

To be fluent in English (written read spoken)


Computer skills:

Required :

Microsoft Office especially Excel and Word

Skype outlook

Would be a plus:

Development of Databases



Being proactive motivated and able to learn quickly new methods of working

Being flexible and having the capacity to delegate

Knowledge of NGO intervention in rural areas.

Ability to work in and adjust with different situations

Ability and eagerness to work with different cultures

Readiness to work in very remote areas

Duties & Responsibilities

GNI starts a project on WASH (mainly focusing on sanitation and hygiene) in Kabul from Jan 2019 for one year. The project has a focus on IDPs and returnees. A Hygiene Trainer is required to as part of the project field staff for the implementation of hygiene training and support in the field work as per the proposal national and international standards.
