Qualification

Education:Bachelor degree in Sharia Law and Political Science or any related field.
Work Experience:Experience 3-4 on community outreach and lia Years
Qualification:

Knowledge of the context (humanitarian and security context of the northern region)
Knowledge of the local language (Uzbeki Pashto and Dari)
Experience 3-4 years on community outreach and liaison or similar strategy in international organizations.
Ability to work as an effective member of the team
Ability to travel to field for extended periods
Understanding of issues faced by refugees returnees and IDPs
Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
Excellent community information delivery counselling communication report writing and interviewing skills

Duties & Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with NRC policies guidelines and standards

Ensure compliance with CC strategy tools handbooks guidelines and standards

Specific technical responsibility for the quality control of relevant activities/HLP cases

Specific technical responsibility for documentation of technical activities

Provide free information and counseling to refugees returnees IDPs and host community (beneficiaries) consistent with the applicable laws procedures and current referral system (update on actor mapping) communication with representative of IDPs is a must;

Make sure to liaise with governmental and nongovernmental organizations to create and maintain a network of organizations to which returnees and IDPs can be referred;

Make sure to collect and record information about the socio-economic security and general conditions within the ILAC’s program strategy and approach for returnees and IDPs;

Make sure to maintain and update standard hard filing from the caseload activities;

Shall be remained updated on current legislation and legal developments in Afghanistan international protection frameworks and human rights laws

Participates in field visits for identification and follow up of activities when scheduled.

Participates in preparation of monthly reports thematic reports and correspondence with government officials and international organizations

Bring humanitarian protection and essential problems and experience of returnees before and after return to the attention of NRC and relevant departments/stakeholders through referral system

Shall represent NRC in national and international meetings when requested and promote exchange of information with relevant external actors

Participate in NRC staff seminars and training when scheduled

Make sure to respect the anonymity of clients approaching NRC and the confidentiality of information received from any clients all the time

Shall be inclusive for close co-operation with NRCs other CCs including needs assessments and identifying beneficiaries where appropriate

Any other tasks as instructed by immediate superior
