Qualification:


Bachelors degree in journalism literature social sciences and public administration political science and politics and international relations are preferred to higher education levels
Required experience At least three years in government and non-government departments in Information and public awareness are given to higher-level holders with priority.
Other skills; (short courses in-service training etc.)
Professional and managerial skills;
Ability to lead and control the administration;
Awareness of election issues;
Use of computer programs (Word Voxel) and the Internet;
English language proficiency.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

Plan a monthly quarterly and annual work plan in accordance with the general plan to achieve the strategic objectives of the ECC;



Active participation in the development design and arrangement of plans policies and promotional materials to improve the transfer of information and public awareness related to the activities of the Electoral Complaints Commission



Providing advice on arranging conferences seminars workshops and interviews. The Commissions leadership for public awareness of the achievements and activities of the Commission in coordination with the spokesman for the Electoral Complaints Commission



Provide advice to the chairman and spokesperson of the commission on the press about the activities of the pre-media office in order to ensure its accuracy and compliance with the policies and objectives of the Office



To establish coordination with the media civil society organizations associated with the elections and political parties in order to ensure the public trust in the activities of the Electoral Complaints Commission



Provide advice and plans for confidence-building programs between stakeholders in electoral matters



Drafting of Memoranda of Understanding Quarterly Commissions for Complaints and Press Releases



Strengthening and developing the website of the Commission in coordination with the relevant directorate for public access to the laws procedures policies programs plans and activities of the Complaints Commission



Develop the concept note and the proposal in the relevant sections



Provide advice on the formulation and reporting of the monthly quarterly and annual reports of the ECC



Establish practical mechanisms for combating corruption in relevant sectors



Other duties assigned by the head of the Electoral Complaints Commission.
