The Legal Advisor should have a university degree in Law and at least 5 years work Experience preferably with the privet sectors or International NGOs. Excellent command of Pashto and Dari. He must also be familiar with software such as: Microsoft Word and Excel. Good communication skills – both written and interpersonal will be essential as most of the work will be done through a process of consultation at all levels.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Provide internal legal advisory services to AGGC management on any legal matters with the government to ensure that the company activities are in line with the applicable laws.

  2. Formulate provide advise and or review all contracts agreements between the company third party and joint ventures to ensure that the company’s interest is protected and the best commercial position maintained.

  3. Control the transparency and the relationship between company and other governmental bodies to ensure full compliance with the laws.

  4. Direct control prepare responds and lead the legal action and legal proceedings to help and improve the collection of the receivables and defend the company’s interest.

  5. Provide professional written and oral legal advice to any government and none-government offices  about complex legal issue as or when required.

  6. Prepare documentation such as agreements employment contracts or any other contract required by the management at main office sub office or the projects.

  7. Assist HR on revising employment contracts to facilitate the recruitment or dismiss of employees and to ensure its conformity.

  8. Contribution on establishment of legal guidelines for tenders and review all commercial contracts that company enters  to ensure its interest are safe guarded.

  9. Help the office in drafting official correspondence with the government and other entities.

  10. Preparation of contracts with vendors suppliers and subcontractors of AGGC to ensure the contracts is in compliance with the government laws and regulations.
