Education: University degree in Social Sciences health administration
Experience: at least 3 years of experience in coordination and communication field familiarity with the official government communication and coordination structures and working environment. Working experience with donors NGOs and United Nations is of advantage.
Languages: Strong written and communication skills in one of the local languages (Dari Pashto) and English enough computer skills and translating documents is required.
Duties & Responsibilities
Write Concept notes official letter suggestion letter and report in both Pashto Dari and English languages.
Send and receive all letters and documentation exchanged between the AOP relevant government institutions and AFSeN secretariat and keep up to date its record.
Communicate timely with technical secretariat the GoIRA protocols standards and any changes in policies laws and procedures.
Arrange all AFSeN-A related meetings and workshops requiring the AOP involvement.
Arrange and take minutes of assigned meetings
Arrange the logistical and administrative affairs requiring AOP involvement
Demonstrate liaising and networking abilities with Government agencies donor organizations NGOs and local authorities.
Develop talking points and speeches for meetings and workshops
Do translation / interpretation in English and local languages
Write take signature send and follow letters and emails in regard to AFSeN on behalf of AOP.
Be able to work extra hours and in days- off when needed.
Professionalism - Knowledge of the government systems. Demonstrated ability to manage processes and maintain accurate records. Ability to work independently and to maintain flexibility in working hours.
Planning and Organising – Demonstrated effective organisational skills and ability to handle work in an efficient and timely manner. Demonstrated ability to coordinate tasks to meet deadlines.
Teamwork – Good interpersonal skills; ability to work in a multi-cultural multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective work relationships with counterparts.
Communication – Must have the ability to write concept notes suggestion letters reports and official letters in both Dari and English languages in a clear and concise manner and to communicate effectively orally.
