Program/Project Monitoring and Evaluation
Develop and design a comprehensive M&E plan in alignment with the most current polices and requirements of the organization. The plan should assist the ACKU personnel in:
Developing and implementing an effective M&E mechanism for the project activities.
Seek ways to increase Efficiency of ACKU’s system of reviewing results and use of performance information.
Assist in regular monitoring of field level activities and help field staff in field level monitoring methods at all stages like pre- during and post- monitoring of the project activities.
Develop a unified data collection system including a database and relevant trackers to ACKU’s Library ABLE and Communication and Research Departments that can generate weekly monthly and annual reports.
Produce or assist in the development of other internal documents such as monthly field reports or success stories.
Assist Senior Management in building M&E capacities in the organization in order to:
Maintain project databases and trackers for keeping an up to date record of data collected from sources.
generate donor reports involving the monthly field data collection the data compilation tabulation analysis and presentation of the collected data in prescribed formats.
Ensure the accuracy of collected data from the field through different data collection methods.
Analyze the data and information and prepare monthly progress reports on major activities and submit to Program Manager as per the need of the project.
Enter routine monitoring and survey data and regularly spot check the accuracy of data supplied and subsequently entered by others.
Assist in the development and translation of data collection tools.
undertake surveys studies evaluations and impact assessments of project work and document learning from the processes used and organize and facilitate the end line survey.
Assist the field officers to Monitor and visit project targeted areas to ensure project progress against project objectives/work plan.
Develop quarterly progress reports based on the annual work plan with qualitative and qualitative inputs from the various sectors under the project.
Duties & Responsibilities
In consultation with the Executive Director Program Manager and Department Managers the M&E Expert will develop a comprehensive M&E Plan. The plan will have a framework and tools on M&E that is aligned with the projects ACKU has. S/he will coordinate and provide technical support to build capacity of the relevant ACKU personnel to ensure the successful implementation of the plan.

Methodology of M&E theories standards and models quantitative/qualitative/mixed methods validity/reliability testing of data data analysis and interpretation and statistical inference methods Professional technical knowledge/expertise in Activity Monitoring & Evaluation Evaluation Design data analysis and reporting Gender equality and diversity awareness Fluency in English Persian and Pashto is required. Knowledge of the other national or regional languages will be considered as an advantage
