Familiarity with BPHS EPHS concept is an advantage
Strong verbal & written communication skills and team working capacity.

Duties & Responsibilities
The Malaria Case management focal point must be medical doctor graduated from medical university with at least 2 years’ experiences of working with National or International organizations/NGOs.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The provincial focal point will be directly responsible for day to day of project implementation and follow up at the provincial level.
The provincial focal point will be representing the malaria project and SHDP at the provincial level.
The provincial focal point will be ensuring the implementation of project work plan in timely manner.
The provincial focal point will ensure that the project activities and outputs are achieved according to project plan.
The provincial focal points will coordinate project activities with provincial stakeholders including PPHD provincial malaria department (PMLCP) BPHS implementers and other stakeholders in the province.
The provincial focal point will be responsible for the facilitation of information sharing amongst national and provincial institutions.
The provincial focal point Provide necessary information and data to project manager and other management team members for developing project monthly and quarterly reports and timely decision making.
The provincial focal point Develop and implement project supervision and M&E plan at the provincial and health facilities level.
The provincial focal point Facilitate the supervision and M&E missions conducted by SHDP main office personnel UNDP MoPH NMLCP PMLCP PPHD and other partners.
The provincial focal point will be in charge of overall management of the training part of the UNDP Malaria project He will be responsible to develop training plan preparing training materials support and implement capacity building plan according to selected objectives and using appropriate methodology training materials and equipment needed for addressing different target group under training program for health facilities’ staff & CHWs.
The provincial focal point will be responsible for Conducting training evaluation and follow up also he is responsible for maintaining and updating the training data base data analysis and preparing of training report.
The provincial focal point will be responsible for ensuring the availability of project needed resources at the provincial level also he should followed up the purchase of any needed supply or equipment with the logistic team in Samangan or in Kabul.
The provincial focal point will attend in technical managerial and coordination meetings and workshops at the provincial and national level on behalf of Malaria project and SHDP.
The provincial focal point should applied any other duty agreed and assigned by the Malaria Project Manager.
