Work Experience:• 3 work experience in construction projects Years
Qualification:

         Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering

         3 years work experience in construction projects preferably in mitigation projects

         Good Oral and Written English Skills

         Proven Computer skills in Auto Cad Word Excel and other MS Office software

         Proven Administration skills

         Ability to travel within Provinces & to Kabul

         Have the ability to work for long hours and under pressure

         Previous experience working on Disasters Response or Disaster Risk Reduction Projects is a desire


Duties & Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE



 



The central role of this position is to implement at provincial district and community level OFDA DRR & EP Grant. The primary focus of this position is to ensure that provincial component of this project is implemented in the needy schools monitored and compliant with the grant agreement.



 



KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES



 



Responsible for supervision action plans and implementation

Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for schools students mitigation project

Setting out leveling and surveying the site.

Checking plans drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.

Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.

Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials

Managing and monitoring supplied materials by the clients

Liaising with any subcontractors supervisors planners quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.

Liaising with clients and their representatives (architects engineers and skilled workers) including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress.

Day-to-day management of the site including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors or direct implementation of mitigation projects

Planning the work and efficiently organizing the site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.

Overseeing quality control health and safety matters on site.

Manage and direct staff members and the construction operations or maintenance activities at project site.

Preparing reports as required.

Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.

Accomplish any other relevant tasks and duties assigned by the line supervisor and project managers.

Compile and submit Project Reporting

Compile and submit via Financial system Project financial statement

Support D o Education and ANDMA co-ordination meetings
