At least 8 years of work experience in M&E field with INGOs NGOs donor organizations or UN agencies

  • Experience of safe procedure for field data collection in area of institutional capacity including financial management human resource management and organizational management and administration 

  • Proven track record of working on gender-based violence or women’s empowerment projects

  • Prior experience with shelters for women or children is an advantage

  • Experience of report writing

  • Experience of conducting research

  • Experience of organizing lesson-learning sessions

Method of Conducting the Assignment:

  • Desk review and development of inception report (5 w/d) [TL M&E Experts]

  • Obtain and incorporate feedback on inception report  [TL] 

  • Start and complete field data collection for institutional assessments of total 24 centers/ 2 organizations in 11 provinces 2 days/province (52 w/d)  [M&E Experts] 

  • Development of 2 Institutional Assessment Reports (20 w/d)  [TL M&E Experts] 

  • Obtain feedback on 2 Assessment Reports

  • Organizing and conducting 3-day workshop to present findings of Institutional Assessments to stakeholders (3 w/d)  [TL M&E Experts] 

  • Development of 2 final Institutional Assessment Reports (20 w/d)  [TL]  

General Skills: 

  • Fluency in reading writhing and speaking in the local language and in English.

  • Flexible positive attitude committed and the ability to deliver with tight deadlines

  • Team player with skills in providing effective feedback to colleagues and management

  • Ability to travel to the intended 11 provinces

Technical Skills:

  • Monitoring and evaluation techniques and processes

  • Data collection and management

  • Analytical and research skills

  • Good command over report writing in English

  • Good level of proficiency in Excel and quantitative analysis

  • Know-how of designing and implementing M&E tools

  • Strong presentation skill

Other Skills: 

  • Time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks

  • Self-motivated person able to work without close supervision

  • Able to work effectively in a diverse team environment
