  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.

  • At least 4 years’ experience in Monitoring and Evaluation.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

  • Willingness to travel to remote areas of the District/areas of intervention for targets achievement.

  • Excellent command of local language (Pashto& Dari) along with functional English language ability.

  • Management experience will be an asset.

Duties & Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The M&E Officer will assist the M&E Manager in ensuring programmatic information management; monitoring and evaluation; ensuring that information collected is reflected upon and used to improve ongoing programs; and is incorporated into consistently high quality reports. He or she will be responsible for developing (in coordination with program staff) coordinating maintaining and constantly improving RI AFG M&E systems to collect information and analyze trends related to emergency response activities and donor requirements using mobile technology and other technological solutions as the situation allows

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring the progress of WEAT activities against the log frame and work plans and notifying the PM of any deviations.

  • Preparing of beneficiary files including photos (and obtaining consent for their use) case studies etc.

  • Compiling beneficiary lists sharing them with the stakeholders and the public and receiving feedback and complaints from the community members for onward submission to project management staff.

  • Participating in monitoring and evaluation exercises surveys and assessments as required

  • Overseeing the collection of data analyzing it and making recommendations to policy and practice

  • Managing information including documenting project data archiving filing and its retrieval for use when needed

  • Monitoring and assessing training and other project events in the field. Based on findings and lessons learnt make appropriate recommendations for future activities;

  • Based on the conducted monitoring visits use appropriate data collection methods to verify integrity precision usefulness validity and timeliness of project information and data

  • Leading the timely compilation and submission of monthly quarterly and other project activity reports from the district field monitoring teams analyzing them and submitting to the Program Manager
