Strong critical thinking and reasoning skills

Good Communication and interpersonal skills

Good knowledge of community development especially working with women children and adolescents.

Excellent computer MS office skills

Excellent communication problem solving and presentation skills

Flexibility and ability to work under pressure and meeting of deadlines

Good reporting skills including report compilation analysis and presentation extremely organized. 

The position holder must be diligent in recording all the her/his steps because there are many moving parts in Program Project implementation

Culture sensitive and respect for local norms

Confidentiality and privacy

Willingness to travel and stay in remote areas and inhospitable environment 



 


Duties & Responsibilities

 



Roles and Main Responsibilities:



 



The M&E Officer should participate and support the development of the M&E tools for project on different levels.

Undertake regular monitoring of project activities to ensure that the quality and quantity of the program activities being delivered according to CFS Child Friendly Spaces.

Become familiar with both the financial and narrative components of the program activities to be monitored and evaluated.

Prepare and implement monthly monitoring and evaluation plans for the program; advise and if necessary train the field staff on the monitoring and evaluation procedures.

Complete and submit regular reports on the monitoring and evaluation findings in the field to Project Coordinator which includes reporting of field visits; provide technical assistance to field teams during implementation of activities;

Monitor field teams related to training activities and assess and report on progress to supervisor.

Ensure that the Monitoring tools are based on the project indicators and measuring the project objectives.

Monitoring and evaluation of the project activities and ensure monitoring and evaluation systems and quality controls are in place.(provide proper feedback to the team based on the finding)

Conduct regular coordination meetings with relevant project team members on Monitoring and Evaluations issues.

Develop and conduct training for group members and provincial staff of the projects on monitoring and evaluation and assist in implementation of these systems.

 Provide support in planning and guiding staff on effective implementation of monitoring & evaluation systems.

 Collaborate closely with monitoring and evaluation team members of HRDA DoLSAMD and other relevant departments.

  Ensure timely and appropriate reporting on project activities to Project Coordinator and provide update to DoLSAMD and other stakeholders.

 Regularly report to Project Coordinator on the status of project deliverables in the area of the development of effective monitoring and evaluation system.

  Provide support to develop frameworks for review impact assessment of project activities.

Document the lessons learned case studies and share it with project staff and other stakeholders.

Participate and support the development of the M&E tools for project on different levels.

To prepare and implement monthly monitoring and evaluation plans for the program.

Advise and if necessary train the field staff on the monitoring and evaluation procedures.

Manage the office administration of provincial M&E Unit; which includes filing system up to date reports photo gallery success stories etc.

Provide technical assistance to field teams during implementation of activities.

Liaison with (DoLSAMD) & with other stakeholders on monitoring & evaluation issues.

Undertake regular field visits to ensure compliance and timely execution of the planned monitoring & evaluation.

Identification and formulation of lessons learned from evaluations and recording of studies.



Ensure that Monthly Individual Action plan is in place.
