Duties & Responsibilities

Reviewing softcopies of data to ensure quality and reliability within existence data. This includes Errors, missing fields, inappropriate answers to questions etc

Conduct regular and routine data quality checks to ensure data are accurately recorded according to the database functionality (QC/QA).

Cross checking of recorded data

Trouble-shooting routine MIS problems

Update Program management about functionality and non-functionality of constructed water points    

Supervise database assistants according to the daily plan

Provide analytical monthly report according to the data management and analysis.

Ensure take daily backup from database to external hard desk

Inform the supervisor to contact with relevant department regarding database issues, when the reports are incomplete / wrong and any other problems.

Able to query data and generate required report

Managing of filing system hard copy and soft copy

Maintenance hard &soft copies of data collection forms library

Take care of the hardware-software assets

Timely inform the supervisor about any unusual or abnormal software-hardware

Participate in all related meeting where is needed

GIS Related Tasks

Update water point maps for DACAAR website

Design and print map layout according to the need and requirement

Able to make thematic map by GIS  and visualize charts, table and diagram on the map

Prepare and design maps layout according to the program requirement

Check and control water points location (Latitude and longitude) in the GIS according to the village, district, province and international boundaries

Any other tasks given by the supervisor
