High School diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred

2-3 years of experience in procurement with experience on donor-funded programs required, and previous experience on USAID-funded programs preferred.

Knowledge of procurement regulations required

Fluency in written Pashto/Dari is required. English is preferred. .

Excellent computers skills, particularly with MS- Office Package.

Strong communication skills verbal and written; fluent written and spoken English, Dari and Pashto.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Operations Officer will report directly to the Operations Manager. The Operations Officer will provide support for KFZ Operations’ Department activities. Specific job duties will include but not be limited to the following activities:


Scan and copy Operations related documents.

Checking each purchase request of procurement Department

Ensures proper documentation and recordkeeping for all documents

 Assist in answering incoming calls.

Correspond with vendors regarding prices, product availability, and delivery of items

Review bills, invoices and purchase orders

Ensure all payments are processed in time

Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
