Duties & Responsibilities
Design and implement peacebuilding projects as per the guidelines of the NCA Afghanistan country strategy and Peace-building programme policy.
Conduct capacity assessment of partners engaged in peacebuilding programme and accordingly provide training to build the capacities of partner for peacebuilding
Review and develop the peace-building programme implementation systems procedures and approaches of partners in achieving the programme objectives
Establish effective coordination and cooperation mechanisms with partners in achieving the peace-building programme objectives and scaling up the programme
Assist partner in advocacy on peace and encourage them to participate in relevant group activities and report back to communities and authorities
Accompany and mentor local partner organisations in implementing and documenting the results of the Peace-building programme.
Assist staff in the peace-building sector to implement the peace-building programme and develop their skills and capacities for peace-building.
Conduct regular monitoring of projects to document results and build the capacity of NCA and partners staff in monitoring methods.
Regularly work on the performance of the staff in peace-building sector with annual objectives for staff and peace-building sector.
Contribute to reports required by the NCA HO and other donors providing funds to the peace-building programme.
Regularly update the Programme Manager on the progress and challenges of the programme.
Liaise on behalf of NCA with donors groups and clusters engaged in peace-building and conduct peace-building advocacy as per the policy of the Peace-building programme.
