Bachelor degree in Petroleum Engineering and any other related fields.
At least 4 years of work experience in relevant fields.
Fluency in English Dari Pashto languages and Microsoft Office programs.
The Incumbent should have sound knowledge of the extractive sector
The Incumbent should have strong written and oral communication and other interpersonal skills.
The incumbent should be able to represent MoMP in intra-government and non-government meetings conference etc.
Duties & Responsibilities
Develop an action plan based on job description.
Coordinate and manage preparation of technical reports for oil and gas resources in coordination with relevant experts and departments.
Work on formulation and preparation of legal tender documents in conjunction with legal department and cadastre.
Create and manage the process for project development and launching the tenders for large scale oil and gas reserves.
Find the legal policy and procedural barriers within the oil and gas sector and giving recommendations to the relevant departments and other external organizations.
Work closely with Large Scale Mining Unit and other relevant exploration and geological programs to gather the relevant geological and exploration information in relation to the projects development plan.
Collaborate with senior management and other team members to define issues scope the initiatives and create appropriate work plans.
Developing and supporting productive relationships with the community local business and other levels of government and key stakeholders to strengthen the capability of Oil and Gas Project Development GIRoA’s vision.
Ensure that projects can be practically applied and seek best value using available and emerging technologies.
Actively work to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders including government agencies regional bodies key industries and business organizations.
Any other activities as assigned by supervisor according to laws and regulations.
