Education:University level degree in students teaching/development studies or in a relevant discipline
Work Experience:A minimum of 3 work experience as a school t Years

Key Responsibilities:

Help students achieve the best possible grade in the subject through theory learning and practical class exercises

Plan lessons on subject topics following the curriculum for the subject area

Good role model

Show empathy respect and apply all teaching methodologies for improvement of students understanding

Follow MoE guidelines school policies and procedures while respecting every pupils’ rights

Keep and monitor records on attendance class/course/home work

Keep in contact with relevant government school and working under consultancy of provincial education department district education departments school management team and GEP staff

Provide lessons and time where each student can use their own learning style creativity and where a teacher gives time for independent problem solving after a teacher’s instructions

Enhance pupil’s emotional and social intelligence around the classes which means providing reassurance support for good work and deeds at school

Plan lessons set & mark student’s course set assignments

Parent evenings and other contact when required while providing feedback on a student’s progress in lessons

Correct inappropriate behaviour of students

Arrive and leave on time to school and classrooms and neglecting abuse  and absentees is zero tolerant

Provide a safe learning environment

Keep in contact with ED M&E team and CWSA education team for any relevant major issue during course of teaching

Technical Competencies:

Teaching all relevant teaching methodologies  

Able to provide the modern and new teaching aid

 Experience in management of the students and teaching school curriculum.

 Engaging academia for curriculum/guidelines development to bridge between theory & practice.

Technical experience to create teaching models for students

Languages: Excellent command of English & Pashto and Dari – verbal and written


Primary Grade school Teacher– Organizational Management and Effectiveness must be tolerant and sensitive to needs of religious and ethnic minorities women children and the poor.


In the absence of the supervisors the Primary grad teacher – Organizational Management and Effectiveness must have the confidence initiative patience and integrity to work independently.


The Primary Grade School Teacher – Organizational Management and Effectiveness is required to follow Community World Service Asia Accountability Framework and its commitment to the Codes of Conduct practised by the organisation. The (Primary Grade school Teacher – Organizational Management and Effectiveness will ensure his/her commitment to the organisation mission and values and for working in accordance to his/her job expectations.

Job summary:

The job will involve a large amount of Primary Grade school Teaching. The Primary Grade school Teacher – Organizational Management and Effectiveness will have to develop a thorough and knowledge of the school students so as to be familiar with Community World Service Asia implementing strategies and so s/he can effectively report on them.
