Duties & Responsibilities

Purpose of the position:

The mission to sourcing and to procure local products based on business need/end user.

Specific duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Key Tasks: 

  • Purchasing item for business need based on end user request
  • Collecting quotation on receiving MRF related to local market.
  • Making comparison of suppliers for best practices
  • Cash Purchasing of small items from Petty Cash
  • Create MRF/PO
  • Ensure all products being procured have been tested and approved
  • Produce weekly and monthly report.
  • Manage relationships with local suppliers
  • Drive demand forecasting in the procurement process
  • Follow up on moneys to be remitted by suppliers in form of cooperative warranty and rebate payments
  • Liaise with Manufacturers on issues concerning procured stock
  • Interface with other relevant departments to facilitate procurement process
  • Any other task(s) as assigned by the Supervisor.
