Duties & Responsibilities
Act according to the policy of SAF
Keep confidential with issues related to SAF
Develop Spirit of co-operation and understanding among members of the team
Overall responsible for SAF Projects/ Program
Prime responsible for planning implementing and follow-up of SAF program
Take part in both designing of health and non health projects and development of proposals
Leading and supervising Program teams at both central and provincial levels.
Develop/Adjust health standards management manual and guidelines in line with MoPH instructions
Ensure effective coordination and communication within SAF program department provincial offices and other departments in terms of program activities.
Ensures effective and efficient relation with line governmental and non-governmental organizations related to SAF programs
Conducts quarterly Program review workshops at the central/Kabul level.
Provides timely technical support to Program staff at the central and provincial levels.
Conducts regular monitoring and supervision visits at the project sites.
Analyses and evaluates progress VS the index and maximum levels of the performance indicators of Jawzjan and Sar-e-Pul BPHS/SEHATMANDI projects and takes corrective actions when necessary to meet program/project contractual requirements.
Ensures that SAF health and health program is implemented in line with MoPH policies strategies and guidelines
Ensures timely supply of pharmaceuticals and medical and non medical materials to health and non health projects.
Ensures that all health facilities are supervised regularly and proper feedback is provided
Ensures that updated MoPH policies strategies manuals and guidelines are communicated with relevant Program units and projects.
Active participating in SAF management board meeting and all other relevant meetings
Conducts performance appraisal of her/his direct subordinates on timely manner
Finalize health and non health projects’ technical reports on timely manner
Ensures the program’s work plan and action plan are finalized and submitted to DG on timely manner
Ensures monitoring follow up reports are submitted on timely manner to DG
Ensures all tasks of the program staff are completed within deadlines.
Perform any other related duty assigned by DG.
