  • At least five years relevant experience with national an international NGO

  • To be fluent in writing and speaking Pashto Dari and English languages.

  • To have knowledge of computer programs (Ms office Skype zoom )

  • To have excellent and acceptable writing in Proposal

  • Work in the team and to be flexible having positive attitude and the ability to work under pressure

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Leading organizing and controlling all ALO’s related project.

  • Preparing and writing attractive acceptable proposal for different projects and analyzing budget summery for implementing project activities.

  • Analyze and understand the relevant development context and key stakeholders shape program objectives engage volunteers partners and relevant stakeholders to inform and influence decision making. Where relevant ensure cross cutting themes (gender) are included. Identify relevant development interventions (including advocacy at all levels) to deliver desired outcomes within the program plans.

  • Based on consultation and review ensuring that resources (volunteers staff and funding) are allocated appropriately and ensure appropriate documentation is in place. Lead the design and delivery of appropriate monitoring and evaluation mechanisms determine the impact and ensure continuous development and learning takes place and that reporting is in line with donor requirements.

  • With input and support from the Director General develop maintain and regularly review financial plans to deliver program objectives including full participation in the annual budget preparation process.

  • Expanding program offering and enhancing the quality of existing programs

  • Developing and implementing strategy for the program team including developing a robust risk mitigation plan

  • Understanding how different projects interlink and overlap

  • Working with the HR team to manage staff and resources for programs

  • Liaising with the marketing and communications team to increase awareness of programs

  • Managing budgets and reporting on fund allocation

  • Participating in tender and grant application process including design submission and review

  • Coordinating and running events and workshops

  • Gathering feedback and presenting insights

  • Reporting on program performance to executive team and directors

  • Identifying opportunities for continual improvement

  • Developing industry partnerships

  • Ensuring relevant standards process and regulations are upheld

  • planning and designing the program and proactively monitoring its progress resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action

  • defining the programs governance arrangements

  • facilitating the appointment of individuals to project teams

  • ensuring the delivery of new products or services from projects is to the appropriate level of quality on time and within budget in accordance with the program plan and program governance arrangements

  • ensuring there is allocation of common resources and skills within the programs individual projects

  • managing third party contributions to the program

  • managing communications with all stakeholders

  • managing both the dependencies and the interfaces between projects

  • managing risks to the programs successful outcome

  • working with the business change manager or equivalent on the transition to the new business as usual position

  • initiating extra activities and other management interventions wherever gaps in the program are identified or issues arise
