Duties & Responsibilities
We are looking for a Program Manager to be responsible for organizing programs and activities for our organization. You will be tasked with developing programs to support the organizations strategic direction as well as creating and managing long term goals. You will also be in charge of developing budgets and operating plans for programs and writing program funding proposals.
Duties & Responsibilities
Liaison with Client and Applicant.
Directly manage high-value activities of high interest in the program.
Serve as a communications focal point between the Kabul Office and the provincial offices.
Maintain daily weekly communication with provincial offices and prepare regular updates to senior management
Generate and manage a tracking system of project and operation expenditures and provide updated reports to the Clients at any level of the process.
Liaise with the Clients to ensure the harmonization of project activities.
Carry out monthly budget reviews of the project budget in coordination with finance and ensure that financial report is Client compliant.
Prepare a consolidated monthly quarterly and annual report for the projects
Maintains official records and documents on the organization’s official status activities and administration issues to ensure transparency and compliance with relevant donor requirements and local laws and regulations.
Ensures the establishment and training in all organizational policies and procedures.
Support quality management and quality assurance function ensuring maximum outcome and impacts of program activities; improve effectiveness and efficiency of operations.
Identifies resources needed in the programs and assigns individual responsibilities to different activities and tasks.
Works with the HR staff to ensure sound human resources management practices are in place.
Assist update and support senior management in the following tasks and activities:
Program management (including supervision of program activities like planning and implementation).
Budget management/preparation and financial planning of program activities and operations of the program in order to achieve the program’s objectives.
Responding to queries and support services required by the Clients;
Development and use of systems to store analyze and report on information concerning the assets finances and operations of the program in collaboration with relevant sections staff and technical experts.
All aspects of the program management including tracking program activities monitoring and evaluation leadership staff development and program representation.
Developing and implementing effective programmatic activities and operation plans that are planned under the program and see future possibilities and new initiatives as well.
