University degree in Business Administration.
 At least 3 Years’ experience.
Demonstrated experience in managing WFP’s project.
Proved capacity for project management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Dari and Pashtu.
Proven ability to work in culturally diverse team.
Clear Presentation skills Computer skills in MS Package strong interpersonal and leadership qualities.
Willing to travel as required.

Duties & Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities:

The Project Manager has the responsibility to ensure the effective and efficient project planning and day to day implementation of the project under the guidance and supervision of the Female Rehabilitation and Development Organization (FRDO) Director. The Project Manager will ensure the functioning of the project from beginning to the end including project inception activities project planning and supervision and project reporting and implementation of the project activities project reviews and project closure.


Prepare the project weekly and monthly work plans in accordance to the work plan stated in the project proposal and submits the FRDO director and WFP focal point for agreement and approval.

Prepare the meeting agenda’s and conduct weekly meetings with project key staff for smooth implementation of the project activities and obtaining the results of the activities.

Draft TOR’s for key inputs (Personnel and procurement) and submit it to WFP and FRDO for clearance and approval.

Supervision of the project staff during the implementation of the project activities and ensure they receive the support and guidance required to meet their responsibilities.

Coordinate and process the project letters to government line ministries and directorate in Kabul and submit the obtained approval letters to FRDO and WFP Kabul area office.

Coordinate and localize the project goals objectives and activities with head of shura’s of the area and conduct the verification and survey process.

In coordination and collaboration with WFP and FRDO Kabul key staff verify and conduct survey of the most vulnerable families’ houses in PD10.

Collect the survey information from surveyors and project supervisor draft the survey report and submit to WFP Kabul area office.

Prepare monthly narrative report assessment report and feasibility report and submit it to WFP and FRDO management.

Prepare and finalize the beneficiaries list and submit it to WFP Kabul area office for transfer of the aid.

Ensure that timely monitoring evaluation and reporting is carried out during the interventions and that timely follow up monitoring is also carried out.

Be the key focal point for Kabul VT-CBT project and ensure WFP management staff are well-informed of project activities and progress.

Conduct meetings with government line directorates CDCs DDAs and related stakeholders on weekly and monthly bases and share the minutes of meeting FRDO programme unit.

Monitor the cash distribution process and coordinate the distribution finding with FRDO programme unit and WFP office in Kabul
