• University degree with post graduate degree (MPH or MD) certified by relevant higher education authority in Afghanistan or other country.

2) Adequacy for the assignment
• Four years full time experience of managing health projects (after graduation from university).
• Or six years full time successful experience of managing a for-profit / non for-profit firm or managing health or other social services (after graduation from university).
• Training in project management planning M&E and report writing
Duties & Responsibilities
The primary responsibility for this position is to oversee the day to day operation of OPHCD office as OPHCD Project Manager these technical operation can include planning and assigning tasks leading technical Admin HR Finance Logistic Procurement team to run the project smoothly and implement OPHCD policies and procedures oversee short and long term.
Assisting project manager in the planning and implementing of health programs.
Provide weekly monthly and quarterly report of project activities to Program/Technical director.
Ensure all activities of Nutrition project is in accordance to the approved work plan and budget.
Assisting in leading and supervising the field data collection data entry and monitoring in household surveys.
Conducting regular Monitoring and supervision of project / technical Supportive team and the health facilities.
Assisting in developing the capacity of team to manage and deliver high quality health care services.
Identify and make decision to solve immediately any problem which interferes in the delivery of services or in achieving the program objectives and provide report to his/her immediate supervisor.
Meet all Officers to discuss program progress and problems on a weekly base.
Evaluate the performance of the health facilities staff base on the requirement.
Responsible for the planning implementing and supervision of all technical activities.
Monitor and supervise progress of the Nutrition program.
Attending in coordination meetings with Donor PPHD NGOs and other stakeholders.
Participate in PHCC meeting.
Participate in health committee meeting or Shura meeting.
Implement and participate with the team to the improvement of the program and maintain the quality of the program through practice of standards Work closely with technical Admin HR Finance Logistic and Procurement in the development of program.
Evaluate and supervise the performance of the project staffs.
Meet all Officers and to discuss program progress and problems on a weekly base
Identify and make decision to solve immediately any problem which interferes of services or in achieving the program objectives by any of the staff and provide report to his/her immediate supervisor.
Ensure all project staff are complying with OPHCD’s established policies procedures and objectives and a continuous quality improvement initiative works/performance.
Admin/Finance / Logistics management
Ensure timely supplies to the HFs and Provincial level.
Develop weekly monthly quarterly and annual project activity plan allocate required fund for activities as per budget.
Manage the administrative and technical issues.
Follow up the project’s expenditures in coordination with the financial deputy department.
